Job Description

We are seeking a professional and reliable Driver to join our team in Victor, United States. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents and performing community errands while providing excellent customer service.

• Transport residents to various destinations, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey
• Perform community errands as assigned, such as picking up supplies or delivering items
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, paying special attention to those with mobility challenges
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, performing regular interior and exterior cleaning
• Report any mechanical issues or necessary repairs to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while operating the vehicle
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or special requests
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless transportation services for residents

Qualifications

• Proven experience driving large vehicles such as vans, trucks, or buses
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record in accordance with company policy
• Excellent focus and concentration while driving, with the ability to remain undistracted by passengers or external factors
• Strong time management skills and ability to navigate efficiently
• Exceptional customer service skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor
• Physical ability to assist passengers and handle luggage when necessary
• Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
• Familiarity with Victor, United States, and surrounding areas
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented approach to vehicle maintenance and record-keeping
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report vehicle issues promptly
• $17 - $18 /hr
