Kathy Roe
Dietary Supervisor
Caring, Honesty, Appreciation, Respect and Teamwork – sometimes our list of Senior Lifestyle core values is a tall order. For Kathy Roe, however, her team members see them in her life every day.
“Kathy embraces all of our core values; she is the walking role model for her team members and our residents.”
Kathy works as a Dietary Supervisor at Heron House, and her commitment to leading by example and giving of herself earned her a nomination for this year’s Heart of Caring award.
“Kathy goes above and beyond as an employee at Heron House. She leads by example. She has given of herself unselfishly, both in her time and volunteering. She has baked with residents, made Christmas cookies, and gingerbread houses. She is full of creative ideas that make our residents and families happy.”
Kathy not only demonstrates a heart of caring in her daily interactions with residents, but also in the way she cares for her fellow team members.
“She covers extra shifts, she wears many hats in the dietary department, and she both loves our residents and cares about her staff. She gives of herself from her heart; she has the biggest ‘caring heart’ ever.”
Thank you, Kathy, for your clear commitment to caring for our residents and demonstrating intentionality and care in all you do. Congratulations on your nomination for your heart of caring!
