Our Local North Wales Neighborhood 

North Wales, PA, is a suburb of Philadelphia and was settled by Welsh immigrants. Considered one of the best places to live in Pennsylvania, it offers a small-town feel in its open suburban places. It also is minutes away from cosmopolitan, historic Philadelphia, with plenty to see and do in a day visit.

We value the joy and companionship that pets offer to all of our residents’ lives. Our pet-friendly community provides designated pet areas, socializing opportunities, and programming to make animal partners feel at home as well. Our Personal Care residents are able to bring one cat or dog to their new home.

We understand the importance of eating good and nutritious food, which is why we offer chef-prepared meals every day, along with snacks. Our goal is to make dining a pleasurable experience for our seniors by removing the stress of cooking and cleaning and establishing a friendly environment in one of our intimate dining rooms .

• 3 Chef-prepared meals that are delicious and nutritional
• Several smaller, more intimate dining rooms to enjoy meals with fellow residents

Our programming calendar drives our health and wellness activities. We will handle everyday chores such as housekeeping, laundry, and cooking so that residents have time for enjoyment and relaxation. From nutritional meals to daily care and enriching  daily programming, we take a well-rounded approach to resident wellness.

 

Embrace Award-Winning Memory Care 

Our special program for those with Alzheimer’s or other dementia, called Embrace, operates under a philosophy of connection and inclusion. Creating a “lifestyle” for Memory Care residents is a function of our Embrace Memory Care program. The daily program reflects residents’ interests, providing residents with the opportunity to feel that they are contributing, to feel stimulated, purposeful, and joyful. We strive to provide structure and routine but variability.

 

Medical Practices Near North Wales

For the convenience of our residents, several physicians and other health care professionals can provide care to our residents in the comfort of their own home. Residents can often see podiatrists, physical/OT therapists, and primary care doctors without leaving our community. Memory care residents also have the option of seeing a dentist on-site. For those seeking care outside our community, our transportation services are here to help residents to and from their medical appointments.

We are conveniently located just minutes away from three hospitals, alongside many primary care doctors, specialists and pharmacies. Residents can rest assured that care is always nearby and available.
