Our Preschool Program
Clover Preschool is an Intergenerational Program, offering full and part time childcare services along with a traditional “preschool” program to children ages three to five years old. In a classroom of 20 children, three full-time teachers and 1 part time teacher guide the children in their discovery and learning of the world and the people around them. The program is proud to be 4 star program with the state of Maine’s quality rating system, which shows that they continuously provide quality care and meet the highest standards set forth in the Early Childhood field.
Clover Preschool is housed inside the Clover Healthcare Community, which is an assisted living facility and retirement home, full of residents the children call their “Grand Friends.” Every day the children and residents are given the opportunity to interact with one another, often engaging in activities that are of interest to both groups. The connections and relationships that form between the children and residents are something truly special and priceless. These interactions and relationships naturally teach the children love, compassion, and empathy, while creating unforgettable childhood memories.
