Director of Plant Operations – Senior Living Community

Hire, train, manage, discipline, and terminate department staff. Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs (TELS and daily checklist). Coordinate compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and guidelines. Coordinate with contractors and venders to make sure insurance and licenses are current. Conduct regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler, and alarm systems. Coordinate and perform housekeeping services to assure a high standard of cleanliness both inside and outside the building.  Coordinate annual maintenance and deep cleaning programs for apartments and common areas. Coordinate necessary repairs and maintenance in apartments and common areas including refurbishment for move-ins. Work closely with Executive Director in creating and scheduling capital budgets. Establish and obtain bids for all capital projects.  Coordinate annual maintenance programs for apartments and common areas. Ensure that the outside of the property is maintained including landscaping and snow removal.  Coordinate the removal of garbage and trash for the property. Coordinate department’s staff schedules to ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of office public spaces, residential apartments, and grounds. Prepare and follow approved department budget. Maintain inventory control for all general supplies, parts, and equipment. Maintain all required maintenance and housekeeping files. Schedule and conduct training sessions and department meetings. Prepare resident charges/billing for extra services when applicable. Understand and implement the role of the department’s safety and disaster plan.  Head safety committee meetings.

Manager Nurse – Assisted Living and Memory Care

​​​​​Pay Rate: $80,000 to $84,000 Annually Provide direct and individualized nursing care to assigned residents based on established nursing protocol. Observe and assess for: pain/discomfort, oxygen therapy, all drainage, all dressings, and any incontinent elimination which may have occurred.  Provide ignition and ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of the resident/family through observation, interview, and physical examination.  Interpret assessment data and information to assist in developing a plan of care.  Assure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately and timely and integrate the medical care plan into the provision of nursing care. Assure that medication administration is correct, according to the established nursing policies and procedures. Provide accurate and timely documentation consistent with the resident plan of care.  Administer medication per physician orders. Document properly on MOR. Observe for any adverse reaction.  Assemble resident charts, resident records, and assure all necessary form are completed in a timely manner. Assure all monthly summaries are completed in a timely manner for assigned residents.  Prepare incident/accident reports for residents as needed per policy, notify AL Director, physician, and family post incident per policy and document accordingly.  Assist resident in learning self-care activities.  Supervise all resident assignments to nursing team members, and assure special instructions are given to team members.  Observe and supervise all meals to ensure residents receive the proper diet and any assistance required.  Monitor and organize all material resources necessary for meeting needs of assigned unit.  Recognize emergencies and life-threatening situations and initiate appropriate action. Ensure that resident call lights are promptly answered, and their needs are addressed timely and appropriately.  Assist with the orientation of new staff members.  Ensure that all scheduled activities take place on assigned unit by utilizing activity personnel and/or nursing personnel. 

Director of Health and Wellness

Directly oversee the delivery of care to Assisted Living residents to ensure that emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are met through all program services and activities. Coordinate, along with the Executive Director, family/resident care conferences and serve as a direct liaison between residents, families, and staff.  Work with residents, families, and other staff to ensure that residents are at appropriate levels of care.  Manage labor costs, supplies, and other line items in clinical budget.  Monitor documentation systems to ensure that all regulatory timeframes for review of assessments and service plans are met and that resident needs are met. Write and review residents’ assessments/evaluations and care-plans with appropriate staff. Assess/evaluate potential residents for Assisted Living level of care.  This may involve assessing/evaluating potential residents in their home or another healthcare setting; must be able to drive to location and perform assessment/evaluation professionally and timely if necessary. Schedule and conduct new resident orientation for all Assisted Living Residents.  Provide, plan, schedule, and monitor staff training programs and in-services for the Assisted Living staff including statutory or regulatory required training. Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings. Manage and coordinate the work of all nursing and other assisted living staff, communicating pertinent resident health and safety information.  This includes overseeing and/or completing staff schedules monthly and daily assignments.  Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.  Ensure compliance with all state regulatory requirements including mandatory reporting to State. Ensure that all concern and incident reports are completed, filed and that follow-up is conducted appropriately.  Assist and/or perform in mock surveys.  Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers while adhering to all policies, standards and procedures of Company. Require 24/7 on-call clinical support. Perform other duties as assigned.

Care Associate – Assisted Living (AL)

Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living. Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor. Provide emotional and social support to residents. Document daily log of assistance. Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns. Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents. Respect residents’ confidentiality.

Utility Worker- Part Time

Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards. Safely and efficiently operate dish washing machine according to procedure manual. Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing. Remove from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken. Stock delivered food and non-food items. Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes. Deep cleaning of kitchen and equipment.     Attend all training and in-service seminars. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Perform all duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards. Housekeeper

General cleaning of resident apartments, hallways and other common areas. Assist in preparing empty apartments for resident move-ins. Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  You may be asked to help respond to resident emergencies. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Maintenance Assistant

Great Opportunity – Part Time (Evenings and Weekends) $16.40 per hour Complete work orders around the community. Perform work and repairs needed to ready apartments prior to move-in’s. Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.  Complete general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping.

Community Relations Director

Schedule, organize, and conduct tours with prospective resident of independent and assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing. Respond and follow-up with to all walk-ins, phone ins, mail-ins timely and appropriately. Create, plan and implement with Sales and Marketing Team and Program Director events to bring in prospective residents, current leads and professionals such as, but not limited to: seminars, speakers, themed events, and family nights. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with residents, families, and professional providers of care.    Maintain a working knowledge of all software programs. Participate in weekend call coverage in Manager Rotation unless they have a standing schedule that already encompasses one or more weekend day.  Secure the required number of budgeted move ins and achieve net gains each month Treat each inquiry with value. Work closely with the Executive Director and Regional Director of Operations, and Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing in development and implementation of the quarterly marketing plan. Create and implement a strong community outreach program that generate the necessary number of referrals to reach sales goals. Complete quarterly media planning with current vendor on a timely basis.  Keep Executive Director informed of all sales activity daily. Maintain Senior Lifestyle Hot Board/Move in Move out board. Communicate any special needs of the incoming resident to the appropriate personnel. Manage use of sales toolbox. Assure every alternative is considered before closing a lead.  Keep informed of all trends, developments, concepts and techniques in his/her field that affect product. Understand the need of the senior and the aging process. Maintain and work an active, meaningful waitlist.  Visit competitors quarterly. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information. Comply with all Senior Lifestyle Policies, cities, state, and federal regulations pertaining to Residents’ accounts as it relates to Medicare, third party billing, etc. Interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, residents, family members, etc. Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Cook – Part-Time – Starting Wage $17

Prepare all food using the daily planner and SLC standard recipes. Work the food line during mealtimes. Ensure that all food meets safety guidelines and that all kitchen areas meet sanitation guidelines. Ensure resident and guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Maintenance FT or PT

This position is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and work orders. Essential Functions: • Perform general maintenance projects as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, installations/repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping. • Respond to and complete resident work orders, ensure quality of service and resident satisfaction. • Perform work needed in relation to apartment turnovers. • Knowledge of all property emergency, safety, and disaster plans/procedures. • Respond promptly to emergencies and after hours calls. • Provide transportation for resident shopping. • Maintain office, shop, and storage.
