Executive Director – Administrator’s License Required!

Act as the on-site executive for all operations, including being the main point of contact for all staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies and the public when needed.  Maintains resident retention by working with residents and their families, dealing with any issues that arise. Responds and follows up with all walk-ins, phone-ins, mail-ins timely and appropriately. Keeps up to date with information about competitors. Meets all expectations of meaningful contacts, leases and occupancy. Maintain budget accountability and cash flow; aggressively anticipate and minimize negative budget variances and deficits. Hire, train, discipline, and terminate employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporate policy.  Maintain all local, state, and federal licenses for the community. Lead staff meetings.  Promote and protect resident rights; assisting residents to make informed decisions and treating them with dignity and respect.  Become an intricate part of the community in social and civic affairs by representing the community in local, state, and professional organizations.  Manage other support level and management roles as needed. 

Care Associate – Assisted Living (AL) & Memory Care (MC) $18-$18.75/Hr

Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living. Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor. Provide emotional and social support to residents. Document daily log of assistance. Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns. Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents. Respect residents’ confidentiality.

Maintenance Assistant- Full Time

Complete work orders around the community. Perform work and repairs needed to ready apartments prior to move-in’s. Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.  Complete general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping.

Dining Services Manager

Supervise daily operation of dining room(s), room service and convenience store. Ensure room service orders are delivered timely and properly. Ensure smooth and timely opening of the dining room. Assist in producing weekly schedules with budgetary guidelines for service staff. Ensure that there are an adequate number of employees for each shift and ensure that absences are covered. Lead the training of all new dining room employees. Assist service staff during mealtime as needed. Oversee resident billing of food service charges. Manage dining staff. 

Server

Accept food order, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner. Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  Actively buss and reset tables as well as complete assigned side work. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Director of Maintenance

Hire, train, discipline, and terminate department staff. Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs (TELS and daily checklist). Coordinate compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and guidelines. Coordinate with contractors and venders to make sure insurance and licenses are current. Conduct regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler, and alarm systems. Work closely with Executive Director in creating and scheduling capital budgets. Establish and obtain bids for all capital projects.  Coordinate annual maintenance programs for apartments and common areas. Coordinate necessary repairs and maintenance in apartments and common areas including refurbishment for move-ins. Ensure that the outside of the property is maintained including landscaping and snow removal.  Coordinate the removal of garbage and trash for the property. Coordinate department’s staff schedules to ensure the proper maintenance of office public spaces, residential apartments, and grounds. Prepare and follow approved department budget. Maintain inventory control for all general supplies, parts, and equipment. Maintain all required maintenance files. Schedule and conduct training sessions and department meetings. Prepare resident charges/billing for extra services when applicable. Understand and implement the role of the department’s safety and disaster plan.  Head safety committee meetings.

Maintenance Assistant

Care Associate – Memory Care (MC) Part time/weekends 12pm-8pm

Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents. Provide assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions, as needed, for Memory Care residents to be as independent as possible in their activities of daily living including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Participate in and lead one on one and group activities. Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Director of Resident Programs

Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Enthusiastic, positive demeanor that encourages residents, employees, and family members to engage with the programs of the community. Foster a fun work environment centered around celebrating the lives of our residents Plan and lead daily programs within the community Develop opportunities for team members from other departments to create and lead programs  Plan and execute special events for residents in collaboration and partnership with the sales and marketing departments Recognize and honor the individuality, diversity, and spirituality of all residents when planning programs, events and holiday celebrations Develop rapport with residents to encourage participation in community programs and events Acknowledge, understand and promote the SLC wellness model by offering opportunities for residents to experience programming in 7 areas of wellness (physical, social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, vocational, & environmental)  Develop and distribute a monthly calendar of events and newsletter that meets SLC program and brand standards by the first of each month Organize and lead trips outside the community to enhance the opportunities for residents to remain connected to the greater community  Develop partnerships inside of and outside of the community to enhance program and event offerings Promote the lifestyle at the community through an active social media presence and positive partnership with the sales and marketing departments  Oversee the resident ambassador program Support and participate in setting up the seasonal/holiday décor of the community Responsible for keeping program flyers, bulletin boards and digital signs up to date and meeting SLC and Brand standards.   Perform work tasks in a way that preserve each resident’s dignity, privacy, and confidentiality Responsible for hiring, training, developing and mentoring dept employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation Human Resources guidelines Secure and maintain all department equipment and supplies Manage the department budget and expenses Document and maintain all records as required to effectively manage the department
