Nurse Manager- Assisted Living – $3000 Sign On Bonus

$3000 Sign On Bonus Provide direct and individualized nursing care to assigned residents based on established nursing protocol. Observe and assess for: pain/discomfort, oxygen therapy, all drainage, all dressings, and any incontinent elimination which may have occurred.  Provide ignition and ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of the resident/family through observation, interview, and physical examination.  Interpret assessment data and information to assist in developing a plan of care.  Assure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately and timely and integrate the medical care plan into the provision of nursing care. Assure that medication administration is correct, according to the established nursing policies and procedures. Provide accurate and timely documentation consistent with the resident plan of care.  Administer medication per physician orders. Document properly on MOR. Observe for any adverse reaction.  Assemble resident charts, resident records, and assure all necessary form are completed in a timely manner. Assure all monthly summaries are completed in a timely manner for assigned residents.  Prepare incident/accident reports for residents as needed per policy, notify AL Director, physician, and family post incident per policy and document accordingly.  Assist resident in learning self-care activities.  Supervise all resident assignments to nursing team members, and assure special instructions are given to team members.  Observe and supervise all meals to ensure residents receive the proper diet and any assistance required.  Monitor and organize all material resources necessary for meeting needs of assigned unit.  Recognize emergencies and life-threatening situations and initiate appropriate action. Ensure that resident call lights are promptly answered, and their needs are addressed timely and appropriately.  Assist with the orientation of new staff members.  Ensure that all scheduled activities take place on assigned unit by utilizing activity personnel and/or nursing personnel. 

Director of Life Enrichment

Plan, develop, and implement resident lifestyle programming within the community as well as through outside trips and events. Monitor documentation system to ensure that all regulatory timeframe for review of assessments and service plans are met and that residents’ needs are met. Write and review residents’ program assessments/evaluations and care-plans with appropriate team members. Survey and interview residents to determine their past and present interests and talents, as well as their satisfaction with the community’s programs and activities. Recognize the individuality, diversity, and spirituality of all residents when planning activities and celebrating holiday functions. Develop relationships with residents to encourage their participation in activities that enhance their quality of and appreciation for life. Observe residents’ function and behavior and report significant changes or concern to appropriate staff. Perform work tasks in a manner that preserves each resident’s dignity, privacy, and confidentiality. Utilize outside community resources and independent contractors to enrich the variety of programs made available to residents. Develop and manage the annual department budget Document and maintain all records as required to effectively manage the department. Secure and maintain all department supplies and equipment. Develop and distribute the resident newsletter/calendar and other lifestyle programming communications on a regular and monthly basis conforming to Senior Lifestyle Standards. Coordinate outings and weekly transportation schedule with the transportation department. In consultation with the Executive Director, hire, train, discipline, and terminate departmental program employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation Human Resources Policy. Coach and counsel department program employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle human resources policies. Work cooperatively with all other departments in planning shared events. Coordinate volunteers, including their recruitment and training. Maintain an inviting, functional, and organized program area, including appropriate and seasonal decoration of display areas. Carry out all responsibilities to residents, families and coworkers in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. Participate in the Manager on Duty program. Attend all required training, in-service, and team members meetings. Ensure that all company uniform and grooming standards for the department are followed. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Sous Chef

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Victor, United States. As the second-in-command in our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality, kitchen efficiency, and team collaboration. Concierge – Part-Time – Starting Wage $13

Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families. Answer telephone calls. You may be asked to ensure the safety of the residents and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigating any unusual activity. Process reports for such things as work orders, incidents and concerns. You will receive packages, plants, prescription drugs, etc. and deliver or hold as requested.  Maintain the sign in/out log for the issuance of community keys, and gate passes. You will assist other departments with administrative functions. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Maintenance Assistant – Part-Time

Complete work orders around the community. Perform work and repairs needed to ready apartments prior to move-in’s. Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.  Complete general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping.

Driver

Transport residents and perform community errands as assigned.  Ensure that all residents who use the transportation are returned safely to the building. Assist all residents in and out of the vehicle as needed.  Maintain cleanliness of vehicle by performing and/or scheduling regular interior/exterior cleaning. Report mechanical needs and repairs and assist in coordination to have repairs completed.

Administrative Assistant

Responsible for answering telephones and handling requests to extent that knowledge and ability allow. Responsible for administrative tasks, including imputing info into the computer. Assist in leasing apartments. Responsible for maintaining resident files, including verifying all info within the file. Act as substitute van driver when necessary. Assist in collection, recording, and depositing rent payments and other fees.
