Area Maintenance Coordinator

Serve as the acting Maintenance Coordinator when a position is vacant.  Provide additional hands-on support/focus on designated assignments at “priority properties”. “Priority properties” to be determined by the AOM, Regional Director of Operations, and National Director of Plant Operations.  For more challenging tasks, offer on-the-job training and/or direct hands-on assistance. Responsible for the training of new Maintenance Directors and/or Coordinators and assist as necessary with the on-boarding of janitors and housekeepers.  Respond to and complete resident work orders in a timely matter, in a fashion which as consistent with resident or management expectations.  Perform required tasks so that assets are well maintained, including effective use of TELS for preventative maintenance, to achieve maximum useful life in terms of serviceability and appearance.  Assist properties in establishing and meeting operating and capital budget goals via effective use of YARDI, Spend-Down, and other internal reporting methods.  Collaborate with the Regional and National Directors of Plant Operations to roll-out and oversee vendor contracts including professed suppliers and service agreements.  Responsible for ensuring designated communities have consistently incorporated SLC maintenance standards.  Perform work required to bring resident units to move-in ready standards/ Ensure unit turnover are meeting company standards and are completed within budget. Perform general maintenance projects as assigned including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment, carpentry work, painting, equipment repair, snow removal and outside landscaping maintenance.  Knowledgeable of all property emergency, safety/disaster plans and procedures.  Respond promptly to emergencies affecting resident or employee safety and/or an immediate jeopardy to the physical plant. 

Maintenance Assistant (Independent Living – Full Time)

Complete work orders around the community. Perform work and repairs needed to ready apartments prior to move-in’s. Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.  Complete general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping.

Lead Server

Accept food orders, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standards.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Actively buss tables and reset tables in accordance to Company policies, procedures and Standards.
• Complete assigned side work and checks out with Manager at completion of shift.
• Collaborate with all staff to ensure timely room service according to our Tray Service/Pick Up related policy.
• Maintain clean and sanitary condition of work areas, china and equipment. Comply with all state and local health codes for food handling. Inspect end of shift duties are completed by staff. Adhere to the personal hygiene policy.
• Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings. Meet all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required.
• Train and/or revisit training with staff. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.
• All dietary department personnel should follow safety precautions to prevent accidents in food preparation according to our accident prevention in food preparation and prevention of back injury policy.
• Maintain budgets by avoiding waste of products and time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Resident Program Assistant

Assist in planning and coordinating all resident activities.  Encourage residents to participate in programs and activities and provide transportation to them as needed. Lead various activities as directed by the Resident Programs Director. Order and maintain supplies for activities as needed.

Director of Health and Wellness

Pay rate: $90,000 – $95,000 Directly oversee the delivery of care to Assisted Living residents to ensure that emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are met through all program services and activities. Coordinate, along with the Executive Director, family/resident care conferences and serve as a direct liaison between residents, families, and staff.  Work with residents, families, and other staff to ensure that residents are at appropriate levels of care.  Manage labor costs, supplies, and other line items in clinical budget.  Monitor documentation systems to ensure that all regulatory timeframes for review of assessments and service plans are met and that resident needs are met. Write and review residents’ assessments/evaluations and care-plans with appropriate staff. Assess/evaluate potential residents for Assisted Living level of care.  This may involve assessing/evaluating potential residents in their home or another healthcare setting; must be able to drive to location and perform assessment/evaluation professionally and timely if necessary. Schedule and conduct new resident orientation for all Assisted Living Residents.  Provide, plan, schedule, and monitor staff training programs and in-services for the Assisted Living staff including statutory or regulatory required training. Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings. Manage and coordinate the work of all nursing and other assisted living staff, communicating pertinent resident health and safety information.  This includes overseeing and/or completing staff schedules monthly and daily assignments.  Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.  Ensure compliance with all state regulatory requirements including mandatory reporting to State. Ensure that all concern and incident reports are completed, filed and that follow-up is conducted appropriately.  Assist and/or perform in mock surveys.  Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers while adhering to all policies, standards and procedures of Company. Require 24/7 on-call clinical support. Perform other duties as assigned.

You may be asked to ensure the safety of the residents and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigating any unusual activity. Process reports for such things as work orders, incidents and concerns. You will receive packages, plants, prescription drugs, etc. and deliver or hold as requested.  Maintain the sign in/out log for the issuance of community keys, and gate passes. You will assist other departments with administrative functions. Care Associate – Memory Care (MC)- part time

Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents. Provide assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions, as needed, for Memory Care residents to be as independent as possible in their activities of daily living including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Participate in and lead one on one and group activities. Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Director of Dining Services

Follow Company Dining Policy and Procedures and while ensuring that all department personnel are compliant as well.  Responsible for the purchasing of all dining food and nonfood items and ensure all purchases for the department achieve 95% DSSI ordering compliance.  Balance and maintain budgets for raw food and supplies. Utilize company standard recipes when completing food production for meals. Ensure that food is served at proper temperature and in proper portion sizes to ensure food safety and palatability according to our food temperature policy.   Ensure that residents’ Prescribed Diets are offered when applicable. Drive high satisfaction by offering our residents choice, dignity and independence in dining according to our hospitality and customer service policy.  Ensure operating and cleaning instructions/procedures are developed and implemented for the department.  Perform Pre-meal Dining Stand-Up with service staff to review daily menu details. Know and adhere to all company and the local, state, and county health departments regulations and acts as the community’s dietary representative for any health department or other required inspections; assure compliance, follow-up to assure any deficiencies are immediately corrected. Ensure all dining areas are clean and safely operating, completes monthly Self Sanitation audit according to the sanitation audit tool and operation and sanitation policies.   Interview, manage, train, hire, discipline, and terminate all dining staff personnel as needed. Oversee the scheduling of all food service personnel to maintain compliance with labor budget.
