What You Can Expect From Us
We take the worry out of emergencies. We work with national distributors to obtain all necessary supplies, such as water, food, power generators and community supplies. Some of our communities are safe havens for our residents to shelter in place. But if the call to evacuate comes out, we’re ready to go, with emergency response teams ready to arrange transportation to shelters.
After any events, and our residents are safe back in their homes, we evaluate our response and update our emergency plans if needed. Take solace in the knowledge that we’re always prepared for emergencies.
How We Communicate
Communication is as important to us as it is to you. During an emergency event like a hurricane, we’ll keep in contact with families by email or phone, and we’ll keep you updated as the situation warrants. At our communities, we have in-house TV channels or digital signs to keep residents in the know, and we’ll continue to keep the lines of communication open.
How We Manage Evacuations When Required
If we’re required to evacuate, Senior Lifestyle has a plan in place. We’ll transport our residents to safe areas until the all-clear is sounded. Reach out to your Senior Lifestyle community for details.
Some of Senior Lifestyle’s communities are safe havens, so our residents are comfortable and secure if we’re allowed to shelter in place.
