Autumn Green at Wright Campus Completes Multi-Million Dollar Renovation
Renovations include common areas and substantial improvements to the assisted living community
Chicago, Illinois – (September 11, 2020) – Construction wrapped last month on major renovations to the Autumn Green at Wright Campus located in Chicago’s Dunning neighborhood. Autumn Green at Wright Campus offers an array of senior lifestyle options including independent, assisted living and short-term care.
“For the design of this property, the team made it a priority to respect the history of the prairie style architecture already present. By utilizing deep metals and warm wood tones, which reflect this well-known architectural style, the design is softened by woven fabrics and textures inspired by interwoven prairie details. The color palette of blues, deep reds, and neutrals are reminiscent of stain glass patterns and motifs usually found in this style of architecture and design as well,” commented project designer Marilyn Aiossa.
The multi-million dollar project includes an interior redesign of community spaces such as the main lobby and fun and engaging spaces to accommodate our robust programming and resident activities. The assisted living community at Autumn Green at Wright Campus also saw substantial improvements to its common areas to meet the resident’s changing needs.
One of the most exciting renovations is the new restaurant-style dining venue, perfect for crafting memorable dining experiences through seasonally inspired chef-prepared meals. The new space will offer opportunities to enjoy pleasing flavor combinations and create a comfortable environment that encourages meaningful connections among residents.
“The design team’s favorite, and most impactful, part was the transformation of the Main Dining Room and the connecting Loop Lounge. Both of these spaces have been opened up to allow for more seating and flexibility while meeting community needs. We know the residents are going to love having Happy Hour in their new lounge,” senior designer Amanda Kosiba said of the design process.
The project was completed by Longview and Senior Lifestyle Corporation in partnership with Ryan Companies, Englewood Construction and Chipman Design Architecture.
“Our investment in Autumn Green at Wright Campus will allow the team to continue to provide the exceptional programming and services offered to our residents today in a new and exciting environment,” says Rachel Rangelov, SVP Design and Construction, Longview Senior Housing Advisors.
