Known to her coworkers as “Jeannie,” Virginia Ives’ “magic” lies in the ways she goes above and beyond to care for residents and coworkers alike at the Pointe at Cedar Park.
“Jeannie never misses a shift, never lets her team members down, and has created a very coordinated and cooperative atmosphere for her staff…[she] always has a a smile on her face for all the staff, residents and family.”
For this kitchen manager, the proof of how much she cares lies in her famous homemade soups. Residents and team members alike regularly notice how Jeannie uses her skills in the kitchen to care for Cedar Park residents.
“Jeannie truly loves and cares for the well-being of each resident, and will go above and beyond for any resident who is under the weather, providing them with her homemade soups.”
Jeannie works her “magic” on all the residents at Cedar Park, but especially cares for one resident whose health condition requires a little extra care.
“Jeannie loves all the residents, but is especially concerned with one resident…a fragile lady with neuro-motor issues and who has a difficult time eating and drinking. Jeannie makes sure this resident eats and drinks.”
